In an increasingly interconnected world, education and training are more relevant than ever. Recently, workshops focused on developing essential skills were held for Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) students at the Be Magic academy. These workshops covered topics such as creating a Europass CV, mental health, social inclusion, and building self-esteem and resilience.

Europass CV: The Gateway to Opportunities

One of the highlights of the workshops was instruction on how to create a Europass CV. This standardized format, recognized throughout Europe, makes it easier for employers to assess candidates' qualifications. During the sessions, participants learned about the importance of presenting their skills and work experience clearly and concisely, which will help them stand out in an increasingly competitive job market.

Mental Health and Self-Esteem: Foundations of Social Inclusion

In addition to technical training, the workshops also addressed mental health as an essential component of social inclusion. Participants discussed the importance of taking care of their emotional well-being, especially during times of adaptation and change. Creating a safe space to share personal experiences fostered resilience within the group, allowing each individual to feel supported and understood. In this way, not only were technical tools imparted, but also social skills that strengthen cohesion and improve personal well-being.

Positive Results and Future Opportunities

At the end of these workshops, details were shared about the courses prepared by the LookInside3UK project. Of the more than 50 students from Ukraine who attended, 30 enrolled in the course that will begin in May. This reflects not only the participants' interest in improving their skills and knowledge, but also the effectiveness of the workshops in connecting them with development opportunities. The inclusion of this practical content in their training can be key to facilitating their integration into society and the labor market.

Conclusion

Conducting workshops focused on curriculum vitae, mental health, and social inclusion represents a significant effort to help foreign Spanish speakers promote their well-being and professional development. Collaboration with projects like LookInside3UK is essential to ensure that these students receive the necessary guidance and support as they adapt to a new context. With this knowledge and these tools, they are better equipped to face the challenges they may encounter.
